And that’s it; we finally got to the end of the season. Las Putas became the National Champions for the 3rd time (season 4, 6 and 11) and made impossible to Mechanical Orange F.C. grab the 1st title in this league. It has been a 22 of excellent rounds in POR1A with lots of excitement like Sport Funchal e Benfica giving up FID after getting 4 times the titles in a row, another team that also gave up on the beginning of the season was Cravos de Prata that were promoted too prematurely, the greatest news about this team is that in the end they are rebuilding to next season win the League 2 and return to 1A. after Sport Funchal e Benfica gave up, all looked to O Garitinho C.F. to be the next to get the title but soon they started to fall giving a chance for other to rise, like Mechanical Orange F.C. and Las Putas.
The round 22 started with the title fight between the 2 emerged teams, Las Putas that lost the Title for the UFIC on previous day were very focused on don’t letting this one to slip away. Mechanical Orange F.C. that got the 1st place some times during the season was before the match in 2nd place and they needed to win in order to win the championship. Cravos de Prata still on rebuilding didn’t give mush fight to Setemares as the away team got the 3 points by scoring 8 goals. Cravos de Prata’s faith was decided a long time ago and soon they will join POR2 league.
Blackout FC™ coming from league 2 did a great season and hold down the 7th position, and even thou they lost against FC Estuera by 0-1 they can be happy with their season.
Itsagoal FC was doomed to play the Playoffs game for the relegation possibility but they end up pulling a rabbit from the head and win one of the most inconsistent team in the league, The Crow Team. The Crow Team proved they are trustworthy as a bat during the day on sunlight as they lost on a game they had to win as it was on their level, during the season they got some impressive wins but ended up in shame by not getting the 3 points. Itsagoal FC with this win avoided to go the payoff match for Relegation (a spot that they were on last season) and ended up on the standing league.
