ItsAGoal x The Crow Team

This is the second season for Itsagoal FC on POR1A, on last season they got the 10th place and were saved on the playoffs match, this season the same movie was about to play.

There were 4 teams that had the chance to be on 10^th and get the undesirable place to play the playoffs to avoid the relegation to league 2. Itsagoal FC was the main contender as they were already on 10th and had a difficult match against The Crow Team. Even if they get the 3 points things wouldnt be good as they had to rely on Porto Eclipse x FC Portus Cale results.

The wildcard on Itsagoal FC x The Crow Team would be, how well would The Crow Team perform, as we know they were quite inconstant during the season getting some great wins against top teams and then losing against teams on their level, even thou this situation existed Itsagoal FC had to be pretty damn good to get the 3 points.

The game started with both teams to play in possession and both team got the defensive line pretty much high. On minute bot teams were fighting on the midfield and a long ball from The Crow Team made Bill Brown to intervene in a place that is not his, the defensive line 2.

The keeper’s long balls to create counter attacks soon became a tennis game with both keepers passing to each other; the game was being played tight enough on the midfield with a large percent on the left side of Itsagoal FC. Fortunately the keepers saw it soon enough and stopped with the long balls, that made The Crow Team to create a chance to attack but the opposing team defense dealt with that in a proper manor. After that it was Itsagoal FC time to move forward and on minute 42 Lindon Meikle wins a ball on the left side and does a pass to Jan Koller that magically he scores making all the stadium to become surprised just like when a magician takes a rabbit from his hat.

The 2^nd half started with Itsagoal FC attack and pressure offensively but The Crow Team handled well the pressure. After that the battle on the midfield returned and the ball possession was the most important issue during the rest of the match.

With this win all eyes went to another game and surprising enough FC Portus Cale got a draw against Porto Eclipse making possible to Itsagoal FC to move up on the standing table as  Porto Eclipse got the hangs man place.

Man of the Match : Ross Tokely

Scottish Side Defender of Itsagoal FC was the man of the match.

Ross was very involved with defensive plays as the game was played 60% of the time on his side; he covered well Po Jarni as he was playing out of his position. On minute 25 Po Jarni is able to run away from his mark and made a dangerous pass that was well intercepted by the CD’s. Aside from this Ross Tokely performed well on his side controlling the entire opponents move and doing the lines well enough.  Ross Tokely tried to tackle twice but only one of them was successful, he made 3 interceptions and was involved in 2 ffb, winning 1 of them.

Itsagoal FC played in 4x1x2x1x2 and on second half the manager decided to refresh the attack switching Eddy Mörschey with Arthur Lette. None of this 2 CF’s contributed much in the match as both didn’t shoot once; Eddy Mörschey still did 2 passes but nothing else worth of.

The Crow Team used also the same formation but after 12 minutes the manager decides to make some changes, the SM John Hollywood is subbed out and the CF Iván Zamorano enters. With this change Po Jarni moved to the right side as SM and Iván Zamorano played as CF
