Sport Funchal e Benfica made a miracle and scored a goal against The Crow Team, the goal wasn’t enough to do anything on the standing league as they lost 10-1 but it was a stain in The Crow Team performance on the match. A top league team suffer a goal from a bot team is something to think about.
Las Putas after getting a moralizing win on Saturday (read here) for the UFIC, they got 3 points for the championship. Itsagoal FC couldn’t resist the pressure and the use of long balls by their opponents and end up losing 1-0.
O Garitinho C.F. got a surprising score when they Draw against Porto Eclipse by 0-0. The match was fairly even as in ball possession the home team got 52% and the user decision was 95% as opposed to their opponent that got an 87% of UDP. It was interesting to see that O Garitinho C.F. performed many substitutions on the match probably to save some condition.
FC Estuera finally broke the tradition and got a win against FC Portus Cale. When these 2 teams play each other, Draw is 90% of the time the outcome of the clash between them, so it was refreshing to see one side to take a win and break the tradition. FC Estuera started strong on the offense to see if they could surprise they rival and on minute 11, Lambe Mos on his traditional dribbles, went from half line till the box line and passed to Jerry Atrick who shot for the goal but Freddy De Vader punches out leaving to Jerry Patrick to recover the ball and pass it to Loganberry Leprous who scored the goal with no problems and became the hero of the day.
Steamers a well-established team in POR1A loses to a team that last season came back to the top Portuguese league. Mechanical Orange F.C. won 0-2 and kept the 1st place on the standing table after this impressive win. The usual suspect Ptara Gomes scored both goals of the team and showed why is he that goal scorer leader. Setemares started the match with an attack but soon they lost the ball and Telmo Alves was responsible of the 1st shot attempt for a goal. After this attempt Rene Higuita sent the ball away and David Gonçalves recovered it passing immediately to hot feet Ptara Gomes that scored the 1st goal of the match while we were on minute 8 of the match. On minute 37 almost from the same place and at the same angle, Ptara Gomes fires a high shot and scores the second goal of the team on that match and the 45th on the league this season making on total 279 goals in his career.
After the dissolution of Sport Funchal e Benfica and O Garitinho C.F. not getting their chances, Mechanical Orange F.C. is stepping on the plate and proving to be a good main candidate of the title.
