[FC Portus Cale] Massimo Lucchesi "We were pleased to get the win"

One of the most interesting matches was Blackout FC™ x FC Portus Cale.

On round 11, last of the 1^st leg, FC Portus Cale lost by 1-0 and now on the beginning of the new leg they avenge the bad image left on round 11.

To understand better what happened on these 2 matches (Round 11 and 12) we talked with the Assistant Manager Massimo Lucchesi of FC Portus Cale.

In this both rounds your team got 1 defeat and 1 win. Happy with this "draw"?

 We were pleased to get the win in round 12 but we felt we were the better team in both rounds to be honest. In the first match we felt we done enough to at the very least get a draw.

 What was the main difference between those 2 matches?

Not an awful lot really. If anything, we had more chances on goal in the first match but most flew over the cross bar. They had one chance in the first match, last night they didn't have any. I'd have to say the main difference was luck. We were certainly the better side on both games.

Now, and looking back, in your idea what would you do different for the 1st match?

You will notice that the line ups were nearly the same for both games. Our game play was also similar in both games. If there is anything we need to work on, it is opening up the opposition defenses a bit more. We did this in the first match but not as much in the second.

- What you expect BlackOut to do this season?

I know I have sat here and said we were the better team, but Blackout is a good team as well. They have some good players and a great manager. I'd expect Blackout to upset some of the big teams and finish mid table. Remember, they are a side that came up last season and they have equipped themselves well.

- Your team is underperformance? Why?

We had a few new signings at the beginning of the season so the chem pen is starting to wear off now, this has had an effect. For a few seasons now we have struggled to score goals, this is where Shot Goes Wide will make a difference as his chem pen is lessening.

Sometimes we aren't as ruthless as we could be. Last night we had a more ruthless streak about our play. It can't always be pretty.
