[FC Estuera]Phil Weston “quality between us and the top 4"

Las Putas is looking to get the title but this last 2 rounds they got 2 draws with 0-0 as the score against FC Estuera.

We know from the start that it is not a good result for a title aspires but what about for FC Estuera?

2 draws against a top team is a good thing? Or 2 draws against Las Putas is a bad thing considering the team that they have and the objectives they are making?

We talked with Phil Weston to uncover this and more questions at least on his point of view.

And yet another draw. Are you worried to never get to TOP 5, again?

I don't get the question really, we just drew 2 top 3 teams 3 times in a row, and so what's there to worry about for us? If there is something that we could learn of our game it is that we really don't have to get worried for next season. We played Las Putas twice in a row now. During the first game they were still on first place in the league, but after we played them twice now they are on 3rd. M.O. were on first place too. That means we really can offer a fight and have a big influence in the league already, and even though we didn't score ourselves, our opponents haven’t scored either, which is a good sign for next season.  Top 5 is really not a concern for me and my team, but if I am not mistaken we were on 5th place at the end of the first round. Nothing to worry about. Sure there is a gap with the top 4 at the moment, but I don't feel there is a lot of difference in quality between us and the top 4.

 2 matches 2 draws with Las Putas, if there would be a 3rd one, what would happen?

We would win, haha.

No, it's hard to predict matches like this... Our first game was hard, but yesterday I felt like we had the game in our hands in second half. I was under the impression that we might just win the game next time we play each other, though Las Putas is a great team and football wise certainly worth top 3 in the league.

 With SFB out of play, MO has everything to be the new Champions?

Well M.O. is a powerhouse at the moment already, they had chem pen last season but already had a very strong stated team, but this season they lost that chem pen and without SFB being there they are now the best stated team in the league. It's very hard to beat them as you know you'll need to play a perfect game or get a bit of luck from the ME. 

What can we expect from FC Estuera x MO next round?

Hopefully a good game. We really had a very hard match in first round against them, but as we will keep on improving i'm hoping to get a better game against them too. Our first game against Las Putas wasn't easy either, but in the second one we showed ourselves more. Ptara will be a big threat but so far he never scored against us, so we are looking to keep it that way. I must say it’s a very bad time to play against them though, Ptara scored a lot of goals, MO is really trying to get him to win the top scorer title again, and MO was also lucky they could play a fully botted SFB where as other top teams had to play them in other circumstances. We will now face an M.O. and all of their players with bar full of confidence, where Estuera has strikers up front who are still dark blue in confidence. It takes down accuracy and the success of your shots a lot and it might very well be the biggest reason why we have such a hard time to score these days, but we have to try to forget this while playing the game and go full power for the 3 points, like we always try to do. This match will be no different, just a lot tougher.
