The matches for season 11 is about to start, Wednesday we will have the first round with awesomeplays.
But what to expect on this new season?
We talked with the 4 times champion in a row manager TiagoMadeira who gave us his view about all teams on the POR1A.
Centro Desportivo - Let’s start with your team. 4 times Champions winner, Season 11 is to get the 5th?
CD - Most of people believes that Mechanical Orange won’t be on the first 5 this season, what is your believe?
TM - I think that MO will end in the first 4; this season with no chem penalty at all I think that their players can play at their best; I hope MO can join the fight for the title.
CD - Las Putas, shaky season 10 and only 1 sign on the team for the new one, Elyas Machera a 26 years old DCM. What you predict about them?
TM - Las Putas are a great team, they stay in the top places of this league for a lot of seasons so I guess they will try to end in highest place they can.
CD - FC Portus Cale, new manager and a strong CF, will they do better than mid table?
TM - Portus are another one of the great teams of this league, they will do their best and will be hard opponents to beat.
CD - O Garitinho FC, your rival. Great effort on UFCL and almost gave big drama on the League. Season 11 will be...?
TM - Will be another fight for the title against us and I wish that the outcome will be the same of the past seasons.
CD - FC Estuera. Long time on POR1A, but no results of being strong. What you think?
TM - Estuera is always a good team, I think that they could get a higher place, they got a great defense and if they can find their way to the goal they can get to the top.
CD - Porto Eclipse, another team with new manager. And this time they have players to Sub.
TM -
CD -The Crow Team, another season that they will stay low and out of radar?
TM -Let’s see, they got a good team with good players, will be a hard fight but let’s see if they can get to a higher position.
CD - SeteMares, a new SM (Joe Shank) and DCM(Gestore) they really need to improve the Midfield?
TM - Setemares surely aim for the title fight; shank and gestore are two good players that will try to help setemares get to the top positions like in the past seasons.Setemares is always a hard team to beat.
CD - Cravos de Prata, they come from 2B and ready to go back there? Or they are ITG of this season?
TM - Cravos got a young team that could struggle toget points, but if they stay united maybe they can stay here for the next season.
CD - BlackOut FC, another team with only Portuguese players, why you think Portuguese prefer to play outside their country?
TM - I think that a lot of Portuguese player played outside the country because in the beginning our league got some bot teams and they searched for a more competitive league,but now that Portugal 1A are in the top leagues I think that some of them comeback to their country league.
CD - And what you foresee for BlackOut FC?
TM - Well Blackout got great players but they got agreat chemistry penalty too, three seasons ago they got the same problem andthat ended being one major condition in their game, the 6-0 against us in that season is a good example of that, if this time they could exceed this problem and keep united in the defeats I guess they could be one of good teams of this league.
CD - It's Goal FC, there is already some rivalry with MO. will they be saved for another season on POR1A or they will be directly relegated this time?
TM - Well IAG stay in 1A in their first season here like I guess was their objective, in this second season I think that the objective will pass from the same but trying to surprise in some moment.
So after talking with Sport Funchal e Benfica manager we can expect one ofthe toughest season so far.
