O Garitinho C.F. against Football Stars was the last match to be played yesterday and both already knew with who the winner would play against next Saturday.
It was going to be a very hard match for the Portuguese League team as they had to face the Brazilians Football Stars.
The match started very even with both teams fighting for the ball on the midfield. Some long balls were made in order to achieve some Counter attack but none made any damage.
On second half, more precisely on minute 63, Alexandre Rodrigues Brazilian keeper in an attempt to make a dangerous counter attack sends a high ball but it is easily intercepted by Erick Leónidas, O Garitinho C.F.’s keeper outside the box, when he tries to get his position back on the box and pass the ball to his teammates, João Duarte intercepts it and is face to face with the keeper but he does not take the advantage as his shot is easily intercepted by Erick Leónidas.
After 90 minutes and fights on the midfelds, the score was still tied and the extra time wasent enough to untie it. On the penalties Erick Leónidas showed a great confidence on the net making his team wins 3-1.
“i think O'Garitinho deserved the victory” started to say the Spanish striker “Football stars have only a little more TTV than us, but we have 4 more players... then they have 2 years more per position aprox... and that’s a big difference on skills... i think we are doing a great job against teams with lot more skills, that’s my opinion”

The Spanish Side Midfielder Steve Urkel also commented about the match and he said “It was a hard match, we knew we were inferiors but we tried to play as we always did and in the end on the penalties wins who is lucky”.
The Brazilian manager of Aliança FC before the match was confident about Football Stars win, in the end he recognized O Garitinho C.F. strength

O Garitinho C.F. Assistant manager analyzed the match and according to him “It was a difficult and exciting game, where we could not lose the order at any time, because being their players higher than ours, probably the oversight, end up in goal. It was a game worked, where to get to the area not only depended on a good pass, but also a bit of luck in attack, and during the 120 minutes, we hadn't. Their few chances, eventually becoming low pass, without supposing a danger to our goal. That was our luck.
In the penalties we got better stamina and with 4 quality shooters on the field, but who made the difference was our goalie, stopping 3 shots (one of them, it was goal after clearing), the other went out. GG, Football Stars”
After that he talked about next match “Another year in the quarterfinals, with the team with the youngest average age, 23.5. On the next game, a very difficult game, not only by the rival (one of the favorites to win the UFCL), but also because we share 3 players, 2 SD and 1 CF. We'll try it.”
