Round 15

Well, round 15 of the Portuguese league crushed some dreams.

Mechanical Orange F.C. lost their 3rd place in a match that they did nothing special, but then again they played against O Garitinho C.F..

FC Portus Cale continues their martyrdom of not scoring and getting 0-0 scores, this time it was against Las Putas.

Ataporquinhos can’t get out of the end of the Standing table as now they lose against Setemares by 0-1.

FC Estuera was in a winning strike but it was ended by the National Champions Sport Funchal e Benfica even thou Estuera can be happy as they lost only by 0-1.

The Crow Team loses yet another game by minimum advantage, 0-1 against Porto Eclipse.

BHFanaticos gets 3 important points on the fight to stay on League 1 next season with a win of 1-0 over Itsagoal FC and put a serious red alert to their opponent’s manager.

After 8 consecutive wins, Mechanical Orange F.C. loses 3 points. The match started with O Garitinho C.F. attacking and the 1^st half the home team tried to hold this attacks. On the second half in minute 67 Erick Leónidas receives the ball and sees his team mate Steve Urkel finding some space on the left and does a long pass to him, Steve Urkel gets the ball near the end line he passes to the box to El Gavatxo Pauleta the Spanish CF receives and scores!! Vitor Baía didn’t have any chance to get that ball.

After this goal, the home team started to be more aggressive but the Keeper and the Defense of the away team handle it very well.

“In general, Garitinho's guys were better than us.” Said in the end of the match, Ptara Gomes  “We had some difficulties in the first 30 minutes, but in that part of the game we manage to survive.”  Confessed the Portuguese Striker”I think both halves of the game were similar, but Garitinho were more organized than us.”

Ptara Gomes  is one of the top scorer of the League with 13 goals scored so far and he feels that something strange happened on the match

“About my own game, i can’t understand why i couldn’t receive any ball. Garitinho's Central defenders have no balls, in other words their mental skills are pretty low comparing to mine, and even the physicals are similar, so in this fights, i should get some advantage. But i was only able to win ball in the middle of the field. Let's see if i can improve in the next game.”

About the goal scored by Garitinhos, Ptara Gomes  says that it was a complete fluke.

“The goal which decided the game, the Spanish were very lucky. That drop kick didn’t go out of the field just for a thin hair.”
