Round 2 Results

Who would think that after 2 rounds the team leading the standing would be a newcomer?

And no, I’m not talking about Mechanical Orange F.C. as they are in 7th place with only 2 points. I’m talking about Itsagoal FC, league 2B champion. Unbelievably (or not) they are in the 1^st place with 6 points and in 2^nd is the National Champion Sport Funchal e Benfica with same points.

“BHF were too in the top of the last season in the beginning but they ended in the bottom” said Ptara Gomes, Mechanical Orange F.C.’s Striker after knowing the results.

Ross Tokely , Itsagoal FC’s Side Defender said “But that’s BHF, that WONT be us. We won’t fall apart when results go against. We are actually surprising ourselves. We thought we'd be lucky to get 6 points in the WHOLE SEASON so to get it from the first 2 games is fantastic”

One thing is for sure, it has been only 2 matches and there is too much season to go. This Sunday it will be a good round to see how the current league leader is ready for League 1 as Michael Cameron, FC Portus Cale’s Central Defender dared “We will have to try our best to change that on Sunday then”

But who did  Itsagoal FC won on round 2? Ataporquinhos, the Spanish sensation team on last season. The score was 2-1 for Matty Totterdell’s boys.

The match started with a big battle on the midfield. We had to wait for minute 22 to see the ball in another place of the field. It was after a bad pass from the Spanish goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar that gives his opponent a shot for attack but Stephen Ronaldinho, Itsagoal FC’s striker doesn’t take the chance with success.

On minute 37, Danilo Ferreira tries do tackle Samaldinho but he fails and the English Side Midfielder runs with the ball avoiding more tackles from the Spanish Defender to do a great pass to the box for Ste Ash who scores the 1^st goal of the match. Ste Ash was responsible for the 2^nd goal also, it happened in minute 70. Everyone on the side of Itsagoal FC was still celebrating the goal and the Spanish team took the advantage of it. Pucho Montoro Jr takes the ball and dribbles away from the midfield till the beginning of the box where he sees Antonio Cassano completely free on the left, does a great pass for a nice finish. 2-1 was the final score.
