Surprise, surprise surprise!!! The Champions lost points in this round and O Garitinho C.F. doesn’t take the advantage to get near the 1st place. Mechanical Orange F.C. gets the 3^rd place without the help of Itsagoal FC, thanks to goal average.

It was expected that The National Champions would win this match especially because of the bad moment of the home team but the unexpected happened. FC Portus Cale draw the match and won one important point!

“There is no secret. We are still a great team.” Said Lawrie Sanchez after the match “We are just struggling to score goals” Explained the Irish Manager “defensively we have still been solid and only conceded 5 goals in 13 games. So I am not too shocked with a 0-0 here, if we had won 1-0, then I would have been shocked”

Sport Funchal e Benfica got 52% of ball possession and 100% of tackle but still they didn’t scored one goal.

This draw most certainly will give confidence back to PORTUS as their manager admitted “Taking points of the champions and the current league leaders will give any team a morale boost. But what we really need here is to start scoring goals. Once we get that morale boost I believe this team will be one of the top teams in Portugal once again.”

In the opposite side there isn’t any concern with this draw “we will keep playing like we do, and besides, we still in the first place with 4 points in front so we don’t have any reason to have moral breaks”.

The Irish manager is very down to earth related to his team this season “Expect some more 0-0 score lines until we sort out our attacking options. A safe mid-table finish this season and then build on that for next season were we should be capable of challenging higher in the league if we can find goals.”

The Portuguese manager wishes “I hope Portus find their way and come back to the top of the table.”
