On Sunday FC Portus Cale stopped the winning strike of Itsagoal FC by winning 2-0. Althou both managers agree that the 1st quarter belonged to the promoted team and FC Portus Cale dominated the match; there was some intelligent tactic involved. Or at least that’s what Chips Kiesbye, Sweedish CF of FC Portus Cale believes.
“We been questioned after the draw in the first round” said the 24 years old player about the draw against Ataporquinhos.
“So this was really a proof of our strength to beat a team like Itsagoal” Considered the CF acknowledging the importance of this Sunday win.
“I’m going to be honest with you.. i think we will win the league.. I don't think anyone understands how strong we are this season.” Confidently replied to Centro Desportivo about the Objectives of the team for this season.
On Sundays match, on minute 55, Lawrie Sanchez manager of the winning team subs in Chips Kiesbye to the pitch. The score was 1-0. Was this sub a tactical one?
“Well coach is smart guy, we were only up by 1 so we knew that they would be pushing for a equalizer. My job was to get in with some fresh legs and disturb their defense. And i think i did my job and the excellent Mr. Hunt could score his second. You could say it was a plan well executed.”
