Most of the match was played on the midfield and Porto Eclipse stopped Setemares forwards to advance on the field.
Lets take a look at how each player did n this tragic event for SeteMares.
How SeteMares played
1 - Rene Higuita - Inglorious night! Whenever he was called to intervene he did in good level, saving twice his team from conceding goals. Unfortunately could do little against the penalty.
3 - Bart Bartas - Very active game since the game volume was on his side. he was almost always able to control the opponents, but on the minute 31 he was dribbled on a move that took threat to his team’s net and forced Rene Higuita to shine.
4 - Raddy McKenny - almost always focused, showing good coordination with his colleagues in the defense. Everything was going well until the 64th minute, momentarily distracted, is too far back on defense (together with Chopper Legsoff) and let the opponents take advantage of the space to create danger and therefore the goal, Substantial error that helped the final result.
5 - Chopper Legsoff - Well controlled on defense, always available to help their colleagues to close on the flanks. Game is inevitably marked on the 64th minute when he forgets to rise (with Raddy McKenny) giving chance to the opponent team create danger and make a foul, on the box. Penalty kick that the opponents take advantage to score the only goal of the game.
13 - Chuck Challenger - Quiet game, since the opponent's bet went the opposite flank to attack until the 64 minutes, after the error of his colleagues in central defense, leads to the bid that generates the goal. Without blame on the goal move.
27 - Nemanja Mihajlovic - Good initiatives on the attack, but not always seeking the best solutions in the conduct of attacking movements. Game is intended on the great lost opportunity to score (when was still 0-0) on the last minute of the 1st half, trying to dribble the GK on the box when he was alone. Player with quality to do more on that situation.
22 - Drew Peacock - Good coordination with Jamie Johnson on the midfield, on the defensive and attacking moves. Always trying filling the free spaces keeping pressure on opponents.
8 - Jamie Johnson - Consistent game making a good pair with Drew Peacock. Didn’t lets their opponents get too much of the ball to create danger.
11 - Ryan Giggs - Always active in the movement, trying to find spaces, but the attack game not evolved on its side. On the 74 minute, after being requested on the attack, he escape the opponent but the forwards do not take advantage on the move.
7 - W. Indy - Without great opportunity on the game giving place on the 22 minute to Holy Moley.
10 - Søren Larsen - Always very busy looking for the ball, but when requested sinned on the shoots.
44 - Holy Moley - Entered on the 22 minutes, and soon creates 2 danger opportunities but the opponent GK, always careful avoided the goal.
How Porto Eclipse played
Kallinho de Oliviera (1) – 1st half with no big problems, Helped his mates on defense by getting out the box when needed. Made a dangerous pass on minute 27 passing the ball to Kobayakawa Sena when he had 2 attackers pressuring him, fortunately the forward missed the net.
Milos Maric (3) – on minute 43 was caught alone on the defense and Nemanja Mihajlovic dribbled him with ease but fortunately for Porto Eclipse, Kallinho de Oliviera solved with ease.
Juan Pablo Sorín (6) – went off after 6 minutes. He still had time to cut one attack of the opponents. He was subbed by Bruno Maldini
Thomas Vermaelen (77) - Helped his team mates on defense and took occasionally an offensive role. This moves for the forward position never risked the team on defense.
Breno Dias (23) – The team choose to attack from the sides so he had a lot to do, or at least tried. On minute 32 he had a breakthrough but the opponent goal keeper punched it wide.
Diguinho Nunes (22) – although the right side was the preferred side, he had some chances to try to feed the forwarders. In minute 64 he was the responsible for the attack that gave penalty to his team.
Alcides Ghiggia (98) – was available to do something but the team preferred to attack from sides, so in offensive way the center midfielder had a nice vacation day.
Breno Porto (69) – nothing much to do. The sides were the preferred to attack and he passed more time near his “brother” than doing anything.
Leandro Phenomenon (11) – Always covered by the defense. Tried to look for space and when we found, the SM’s couldn’t feed him the ball.
'Tragic' Lee Hipp (19) – same as his position mate, Nothing much to do because the midfielders couldn’t feed the forwarders the ball. he was called to the penalty spot and he gave the 3 points to the team.
