“At the beginning of the season we did not have plans to challenge for the title, but when you are 6 games into the season, and already played the likes of SFB and Garitinho, and remain unbeaten you have to start to think about what exactly is possible this season.” Started to say Lawrie Sanchez manager of FC Portus Cale after the draw (1-1) against FC Estuera.

About the game itself Lawrie Sanchez considered “I think with the way the match panned out, they were lucky.We weren't playing our best tonight or we could of took all 3 points. But all games against Estuera are always very challenging as they are a well-organized team with a good coach. So on a different day they could have taken the 3 points as well and we will happily move on to the next match with 1 more point in the bag. I think in the end a draw was a fair result for both teams. Of course it is disappointing to concede through giving away a penalty, but we only have ourselves to blame. It wasn't a very pretty game from ourselves as we gave away possession too easy at times, and in that sense I feel as if we could of won the game if we had kept the ball better.”
