Last round FC Estuera played against Blackout FC™ and won 1-0 making this way another loss for BlackOut and sending them to a crucial position on the standing league at the bottom.
“Our defense was really strong yesterday, next to that we knew how to hurt Blackout and the team executed the given guidelines very well”- started to say Phil Weston, manager of FC Estuera
“We stayed in ball possession almost all game and knew we had to keep the ball and look patiently for gaps opening up for us to pass the ball into. In the end our keeper didn’t have to touch the ball, so it's a very positive result.”After finding out that with this loss, his opponent is now 11th in the league with zero points, Phil Weston considered “I think Blackout really has the potential to get more out of it than they already did till now, but they also had to play some top teams like we did. You always know it’s possible not to get any points when you play against the better teams in the league. Personally i think Blackout will stay out of the last 2 positions.”
FC Estuera signed some new players in preseason and they are reconstructing the team to seek its glory “The new signings are slowly fitting in. They are willing to work extra in order to fit in as soon as possible. One is improving better than the other, but we will surely have all of the signings in top shape after the first bunch of matches.”
One of the main problems in FID are the inactives and the TOP teams also suffers from this:
“We are in need of more players yes. If you have a global view at the team you see lots of players for each position, but the truth is that some are turning inactive and we are keeping them, hoping a good player can take over one of the characters. In the meanwhile we still need at least one player coming in who's ready to take place in our first 11.”
When questioned about what position the manager thinks that his team will get, Phil Weston said “Hard to say, it all depends on how fast our team will glue together again. Top 5 would be nice for us this season, but it will be harder than it ever was before.”
cheers :)
