Round 19

Las Putas loses the 1st place on a round where Mechanical Orange F.C. had an easy game, also one team started a dreamy day and end up on a perfect nightmare. Centro Desportivo launched a contest on Twitter and gave away 50 FIDCredits to a lucky winner.
That’s right; Centro Desportivo held a contest yesterday and gave away 50 FIDCredits to whomever got our question right. The question was:
“What is the current team Name of the 1st POR1A Champion?”

And the 1st one to reply correctly wins 50 Credits. Easy, simple and fun. The fastest tweeterer with the correct reply was @Unkn0wngeniusFI from Norway. He replied Ronaldo-Cassano FC and won immediately 50 FID Credits.
we will held another contest on Twitter with FID Credits as prize, if you want to grab some easy credits you need to have a twitter account (if you don’t have create one at www.Twitter.com) and click on follow button of Centro Desportivo page.
Round 19 started with an easy win for FC Portus Cale, they scored 12 goals against Sport Funchal e Benfica

Porto Eclipse played a team more on their level even thou due their past story they would be considered the favorites to win, but unfortunately they only could draw with Blackout FC™.
Porto Eclipse started the match doing what they were expected to do and grab the control of it, On minute 6 of the match Nev Sigma dribbles away to attack and shoots but Dani Egídio punched it out with 27th Dealers winning the rebound and shooting, the keeper punches again and this time for outside the box, Porto Eclipse continues to pressure and Trev Sigma gets the punched ball and pass it to the box for his brother Nev Sigma that sees 27th Dealers alone and free on the right side of the box and give the ball to him, the Portuguese ACM receives and shoot for an amazing goal, 1-0 for Porto Eclipse.
Blackout FC™ started counter attacks in hope to get their opponent on wrong foot and on minute 34 after Porto Eclipse attack being stopped by the keeper, Dani Egídio does a long pass to Jesus Navas and the keeper of Porto Eclipse believing that the SM wouldn’t get that ball leaves the net in order to receive the long ball but Jesus Navas successfully receives the pass and scores the equalizer easily as the net was empty. 1-1 was the final score.

The Crow Team is very inconstant on the season and again on this last round they showed their inconstancy again by stopping one of the title contenders to get 3 points.
Las Putas needed to grab these 3 points or they would lose the 1st place but the best they could do was a 0-0. The home team knew that the away team needed to score so they opted for ball possession and call Las Putas to get it if they wanted to score, the tactic worked well and gave some chances to The Crow Team to counter attack, unfortunately none of the team got a goal but 1 point suits well to The Crow Team.

Setemares playing home received a team that was on a good strike and stopped them to grab 3 points again. FC Estuera failed to consolidate the 3rd place after drawing with Setemares in a match with no goals.
Joe Shank gave a lot of trouble to FC Estuera and he started early on the match, we were on minute 8 of the game and Mossy O'Toole sees Joe Shank free after the midfield and does a high pass to him, the star quality speed gave him the advantage to get the pass and dribble till the area where he shoots for a goal but Rene Higuita easily saves the shot. The 1st half ended with no more dangerous shots from neither team. 2nd half both teams played in attack mode eventho with a lot of careful so none of them could caught on counter attack, the strikers tried their luck from far shooting sometimes still from outside the area, the match was interesting and the point division for both is more than fair for what they did.

Cravos de Prata got another defeat and this time it was Mechanical Orange F.C. to have a party on scoring goals, 14-o was the final result.

Itsagoal FC wanted to take the bad moment of O Garitinho C.F. and surprise them and everyone with a win, and to be honest for 28 minutes, I believed that they could get the surprise.
On minute 12 of the 1st half, Jan Koller receives a ball from Lindon Meikle and scored the 1st goal of the match, at this point everyone’s jaw dropped. The most impossible thing to happen was a reality! This goal fortunately for O Garitinho C.F. didn’t made a dent on the team as they started to pick up the pace and adjusted fast to turn the table. On minute 28 El Gavatxo Pauleta makes their opponent dream to and end by getting the equalizer.
After this goal O Garitinho C.F. dominated the match creating chances and shooting so they could get the second goal still before the end of the 1st half but the referee whistle was faster and soon came to the end of the 1st half. The 2nd half started with O Garitinho C.F. on the attack and Gregory Jonay Ramírez dribbles everyone including the keeper making the 2nd goal for O Garitinho C.F., we were still on minute 47 of the match. This goal was a clear sign that they would joke around anymore, O Garitinho C.F. wanted to kick the crises of bad results and this was the right match for them to achieve that. If anyone still had any faith that Itsagoal FC could equalize the match, on minute 49 Pucho Montoro Jr killed their faith by scoring the 3rd goal of the team. Still with lots of time to play, Itsagoal FC didn’t gave up and tried to get a goal but on minute 85 came the unnecessary goal, Itsagoal FC was losing but they were still facing their opponent with pride and putting a fight to it but Pucho Montoro Jr scored again making the score too heavy for a very good match. 1-4 was the final score on a game that was a pressure of for O Garitinho C.F. and nothing to be shame of for Itsagoal FC.
