Round 2

It is 2012 now and time for round 2. The Mayan’s predicted that this is the year when the world will end and I guess that for Sport Funchal e Benfica and Cravos de Prata, this prediction is more than accurate.

Sport Funchal e Benfica players have been showing their frustrations towards the game even thou they are 4 times champions in a row. They are the most solid team in POR1A and it would be a big loss for the league. On round 2 they faced another team that is moving towards the end, but for other reasons, Cravos de Prata and the National Champions won 9-0.

Mechanical Orange F.C. performed on of the best matches as they draw with O Garitinho C.F.

Las Putas wants to fight for the championship title and they received at their home the recently promoted Blackout FC™ that got their 2^nd defeat on this season, this time by 2-0.

Mechanical Orange F.C. started the year with the will to win and to prove to all that they are one of the best team acting on this league.

O Garitinho C.F. is one of the main contenders to win the league this season but things didn’t go well for them.

The match started with the away team trying to get the control of the game. On minute 17 El Gavatxo Pauleta makes the 1^st shot to the net on the match but he misses the chance.

Mechanical Orange F.C. with long balls tried to attack but the away team’s defense where very focused and secure on the back. On minute 28 Telmo Alves gets the chance to shoot but Erick Leónidas saves it without any trouble. Until the half time both teams defense where solid and stopping any attack from any team. On the start of the second half things looked the same until minute 55 when Magnusson Completo tackles Steve Urkel and passes upfront to Tércio Bettencourt, the Portuguese CM sees vey well on the left side Filipe D. alone and open and passes to him, the SM gets the ball and dribbles to the area until near the small area where he passes to Telmo Alves who shoots it to the goal making this start of the year, Orangelacious.

On minute 60 Mechanical Orange F.C. has another chance to score as Telmo Alves gets to shoot again but Erick Leónidas punches the ball away.

Things started to look bad for O Garitinho C.F. as the orange boys kept pressuring in order to get the safe goal. On minute 78 Ricardo Madruga gets the ball and he his alone with just the keeper to beat and the number 21 tries to dribble n to the goal without any success as the keeper Erick Leónidas tackles the dribble with no problems and keep the team’s hope to draw alive.

On minute 85, faith decides to ruin the orangelicious start of the year when Erick Leónidas passes to Steve Urkel and this time the SM avoids the tackle of Magnusson Completo and enters in the area where he passes the ball to the striker Ladyboy Cat McPenis who shoots for a bad save of 'The Superman' Lima leaving the ball for an easy goal by Gregory Jonay Ramírez.
