In group A the Portuguese League team, Las Putas already had the qualification on the Intercontinental Cup for the knockout stage secured after two wins but yesterday against the Norwegians Tufte IL they showed that they are serious on this event.
2-0 was the final score and the Portuguese League team got his 3rd consecutive win in this event. The goals were scored by Kepa Rincón.
The 1st goal was on minute 67 after Las Putas winning a Free Kick. The free kick was taken by Jaime Ague and he does a perfect pass to Kepa Rincón that scores the goal.
On minute 89 Razor Rasmussen fouls on the box and the referee points to penalty spot. Kepa Rincón is called to the spot and he does not miss the opportunity to score one more goal.
In the end of the match we asked Rincon about the objectives of the team in this event and the Spanish striker said:
“Going step by step, there are second characters in our team so we haven't a goal. But, obviously, we want to come as far as we can”.
Centro Desportivo taked the opportunity with Ricon to ask what’s happening to Las Putas in the league:
CD - why you guys not doing well like last season on the League?
Kepa Rincon - Other teams are playing with the same players season to season. Benfica, i.e, has 100 in chemistry. Our team, bought new players and sell others so it's not easy when in Portugal, the league is going harder every season.
The Americans dominated completely the match and score. Final score 9-0.
